We are looking for reliable employees to serve as a Direct Care Worker for the members in our residential group homes, where we currently serve the developmentally disabled population. You'll be a part of like-minded people who have the heart to serve those in need. We are looking for team members to assist in transportation to appointments, medication administration, and typical daily tasks such as cooking and assisting members with chores and the routines of our clients.
The Direct Care Worker will also provide support and care for the members living in the home and maintain a safe environment.
Availability Requirements
WEEKEND AND/OR EVENING AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED
2nd shift Weekdays (2:30pm - 10:30pm)
3rd shift Weekdays (10:30pm - 8:30am)

- Phoenix (26th St and Southern)
- Arrowhead (83rd Ave and Beardsley)
- Avondale (119th Ave and Buckeye)
- Laveen (67th Ave and Baseline)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrates strong boundaries and shows care and concern for adults with disabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to obtain a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Department of Public Safety and a physical examination prior to employment
Requirements/Training (We can assist with applicants meeting these requirements if you are eligible to receive them.)
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid
- Article 9 Training
- CIT/Prevention & Support Training
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in monthly team meetings and agency-wide training
- Assist with client admission and discharge
- Follow an assigned schedule for daily activities
- Oversee members’ completion of daily living tasks
- Follow house rules and schedules to provide consistency
- Complete daily progress notes
- Safely and appropriately utilize Prevention & Support behavioral intervention standards if necessary

Starting up to $14 per hour
