Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Conduct training sessions for on-site team members based on identified needs, including onboarding and orientation for all new hires to ensure a positive and engaging onboarding experience.
  • Serve as a training partner and operational support resource for on-site teams, floating between communities as property needs require.
  • Update training materials as requested by the Training and Development Associate to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Provide one‑on‑one training and support to new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Facilitate both individual and group training sessions tailored to identify operational needs and skill gaps.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and discuss any potential growth opportunities with the Training and Development Associate.
  • Implement and support GRE‑M training programs focused on property operations, customer service, leasing, compliance, maintenance processes, and company standards.
  • Assist with developing team members for their next step of their career path.
  • When not facilitating training and onboarding this team member will support with operational coverage and support during staffing transitions, new acquisitions, system implementations, or high‑need situations.
  • Maintain consistency in company standards, processes, customer experience expectations, and operational compliance across the assigned portfolio.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and team‑oriented culture while building strong relationships with onsite and corporate teams.
  • Support change management initiatives by helping teams successfully adopt new processes, systems, and company programs.
  • Participate in special projects, training initiatives, workshops, meetings, and company events as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness while adapting to the evolving needs of the portfolio.
  • Collaborate and establish effective relationships with both the Director of Property Services and the Training and Development Associate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel regularly to support onsite teams with in-person training, community support, and operational assessments.
Required Skills and Motivations
  • Previous experience training and developing others required.
  • The ability to operate confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and situations.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure and stay organized to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with other employees, residents, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Comfortable writing and presenting learning material to employees at all levels.
  • Proficient in utilizing the internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs to complete needed reports.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of proven on‑site experience in property management.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Special Licenses and/or Certificates
  • None.
Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in property management or related field preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Microsoft Word, and Windows Operating System.
  • Expert‑level knowledge of Yardi Voyager, CRM Flex, and CRM IQ.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English, in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.
Work Schedule

The work schedule for this job description is Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, weekends and after hours are at times required to fulfill this role successfully.

FLSA Status:
Non‑Exempt, Full‑Time (40 hours per week)
