Family Support Coordinator

Job Overview

Devereux Arizona’s Community Based Services provide rapid, intensive in‑home support for youth facing crisis. The Family (Crisis) Support Coordinator works one‑to‑one with youth aged 2–17 in the natural setting, teaching life and emotional regulation skills, behavior reduction, anger management, trauma coping, and communication techniques.

• Provide one‑to‑one support to 3–5 youth per caseload.
• Teach essential life and emotional regulation skills.
• Implement behavior reduction and anger management strategies.
• Support coping with trauma‑related behaviors.
• Facilitate communication techniques for youth success in home, school, and community.
• Collaborate with the Child/Family Team, conduct intakes, case management, and maintain documentation.

Pay Range: $21.00–$23.10 per hour.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules:
Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday; ability to work afternoons nights (as late as 8:30 pm).

Mileage reimbursement and “Tank of Gas” stipend ($50 first paycheck, $25 per pay period thereafter).

Work equipment (phone and laptop) provided. Ability to commute throughout Maricopa County using own vehicle.

• At least 21 years old.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalency; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 4 years full‑time behavioral health work experience with high‑school diploma, OR 2 years experience and associate degree, OR 1 year experience with bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to commute throughout Maricopa County using own vehicle.

• Available for two weeks of orientation (paid, Mon‑Fri 8:30 am‑5 pm) plus 2–3 weeks of on‑job training.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with 36‑month history check.
• Drug test within 24 hrs of offer.
• Pre‑employment physical and job‑demand assessment.
• Current Arizona fingerprint clearance card with no restrictions.
