The Neighborhood Services Department has a vacancy for a Community Worker III position. This position is responsible for managing the high demand application process for Housing Rehabilitation programs, which includes but is not limited to:

• Providing program information and eligibility criteria to residents.
• Distributing application material via mail, appointment, field visit, or electronically.
• Offering technical support to potential program participants who need assistance.
• Reviewing and organizing physical and electronic files.

This position operates in a fast-paced environment with a consistently high caseload and requires focus, decision making skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage urgent, time sensitive situations.

The Community Worker III accesses, maintains, and inputs data in several electronic systems including but not limited to:
Adobe Acrobat Sign, a Call Log, various trackers, and customer management databases for research and documentation. Occasionally this position participates in outreach and educational activities to promote Housing Rehabilitation programs for neighborhood events, community campaigns, and initiatives. The Community Worker Ill position is a driving position.

The Community Worker Ill position works under the general supervision of the Community Outreach Supervisor and liaises with Project Managers in the Housing Rehabilitation Section, and the Seamless Service Counter staff in the Neighborhood Engagement Division.

Pay Range: $21.44 to $31.68 per hour.

Hiring Range: $21.44 to $28.73 per hour.
