We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Engineer II with strong experience in backend development, automation, and API engineering. The ideal candidate is a great team player who enjoys solving complex problems, delivering high-quality software, and driving automation in fast-paced environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Java and Vert.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code across multiple languages including Python where needed.
• Implement API integrations and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cucumber and other relevant tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuously improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

• 6 to 10yrs of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Vert.
  
  X framework.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber or similar test automation frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly automate manual processes.
• Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday.
