Generative AI Engineer

Our client is a Fortune 50 enterprise and industry leader undergoing a major AI-driven transformation across its digital platforms and customer experiences. They are investing heavily in Generative AI, multi-agent systems, and enterprise-scale LLM applications to modernize internal operations and customer-facing solutions. This team sits at the forefront of that initiative, building production-grade GenAI systems on AWS that will directly impact millions of users nationwide.

• Designing, building, managing, and implementing GenAI solutions
• Designing, building, and managing Agent-to-Agent and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
• Integrating large language models (LLMs) into production systems via APIs, pipelines, and workflows
• Partnering with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams
• Contributing to strategic AI initiatives and roadmap development
• Designing and building reliable REST APIs

• Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EC2, S3, Dynamo
  
  DB, and Amazon Open Search (vector search)
• Familiarity with GenAI platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AWS Bedrock/Strands
• Preferred experience with AWS Bedrock and Agent Core
• Strong engineering fundamentals including clean code, design patterns, unit/integration testing
• Quality and automation mindset: CI/CD, code reviews, debugging, TDD/BDD, and security/compliance automation
• Awareness of AI security risks such as prompt injection and data leakage
• Working knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and LLM application patterns

• Background in software engineering (backend/platform/full-stack); AI/LLM integration experience is a plus
• Proven experience delivering production services on AWS; fintech/payments experience is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Certifications such as AWS CCP, AWS Solutions Architect, and AWS ML Specialty are advantageous

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70.00 to $100.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
