Description

This is not a joke. Let me explain.

Deep Mind didn't pick Star Craft as their benchmark for artificial general intelligence by accident. They picked it because it's the most cognitively demanding real-time environment ever designed. Simultaneous macro strategy, micro execution, APM optimization, fog-of-war decision-making, and multi-front management under time pressure.

Know what else requires all of that at the same time? Orchestrating AI agents to build production software.

We're looking for someone who spent thousands of hours in competitive RTS games (Star Craft: Brood War preferred, SC2 accepted, Age of Empires or C&C veterans may apply) and has since translated that cognitive architecture into AI-native software development.

What we actually need:
  • You can orchestrate multiple AI systems (Claude, GPT, Copilot, Cursor, local models) as cognitive extensions, not autocomplete tools.
  • You think in pipelines, not prompts.
  • You build production systems solo that would traditionally require a 4-8 person team.
  • You’ve been doing this since 2024 or earlier, meaning you have 12+ months of compound learning in the paradigm.
  • You have the systems thinking to architect, the execution speed to ship, and the pattern recognition to know which AI to use for which task in real time.
  • Bought Bitcoin before $1,000 (although we want and have nothing to do with web3)
  • Were fascinated by Rube Goldberg machines as a kid.
  • Can explain what APM optimization has to do with prompt engineering.
  • Have built something in production that people said was impossible for one person.
  • Understand why this job posting exists.
Why this matters:

There's a new research paper from Way Lucid Labs called "The Trajectory Model" that argues AI-native talent forms through irreproducible convergence chains, not generic skill acquisition. The specific chain of competitive gaming cognitive architecture + early paradigm recognition + AI-native compound velocity produces a capability that can't be replicated by hiring three senior engineers and giving them Copilot licenses.

We're testing that thesis.

You might be proof of it.
  • Compensation: If you're actually what this posting describes, we both know the standard salary bands don't apply. Let's talk.
