Application Developer - Cloud FullStack Job Phoenix area,Arizona USA,Software Development

Duties:

Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications using a full-stack approach.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality applications.
Develop and maintain cloud applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing tools such as Big Query, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark/Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver scalable solutions.
Maintain and enhance application performance, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and system optimization.
Work closely with the testing team to ensure applications are thoroughly tested before release.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future development and reference.

Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Big Query, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Java.
Expertise in cloud application development with a full-stack development approach.
Proven experience with big data technologies, specifically working with large data sets.
Knowledge of cornerstone platform and GCP big data.
Proficient in both backend and frontend development, including UI/UX.
Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Experience:

At least 6 years of strong hands-on experience in cloud application development, with specific expertise in big data and GCP.
Mandatory recent experience with American Express (Amex) on cornerstone and/or GCP big data platforms.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions on time and within scope.
Proven track record of developing, testing, and deploying scalable cloud applications.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
