CGI is looking for an experienced QE Specialist to join the Applications Development and Maintenance team, supporting a large U.S. bank in an advanced technology environment.

• Design and develop high‑quality automated UI and API tests for web applications using Karate, a BDD framework, and Selenium with Java.
• Design and build industry‑standard test automation solutions and scripts, and perform in‑sprint manual and automated testing in an agile setting.
• Develop and manage software test plans, traceability, and high‑quality regression test plans; provide manual and automated testing estimates during discovery and sprint planning.
• Investigate automated and manual test failures to ensure application correctness; update automated UI and API test scripts as needed.
• Replicate production defects in lower environments, log defects in the defect management system, provide issue walkthroughs to developers or software engineers, and collaborate with Dev Ops to set up quality gates and execute automated tests in the delivery pipeline.
• Automate repetitive validation tasks for browser‑ and API‑based test automation products and report testing results and metrics to the QA manager and other project stakeholders.
• Partner with product teams to design and develop acceptance criteria and BDD tests.
• Report progress, test metrics, and results to project stakeholders.
• Perform all activities involved in the software testing lifecycle.

• Over 6 years of experience working as a quality engineer in an Agile team.
• 5 years of test automation experience using Selenium and Cucumber.
• Experience developing UI tests with Selenium Java and BDD frameworks.
• Experience managing code repositories and versions using Azure Dev Ops and Git.
• Experience developing API tests using the Karate framework.
• 4 years of experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated regression tests for web and backend applications.
• Good understanding of Agile project management and Dev Ops tools.
