Python Platform Engineer

Our banking client is seeking a Python Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Python Platform Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting enterprise-scale digital platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Online technical assessment will be required and will be conducted by Experis.

Job Title: Python Platform Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite)

Interview: 60-90-minute IN PERSON interview in client's Phoenix office is required

Pay Range: 50-54/hr W2

Type: Contract through end of 2026 - possible extension

• Build and maintain production-grade Python services supporting enterprise CMS, search, and automation platforms
• Develop APIs and backend services that integrate with large-scale digital systems such as web, CMS, and internal tools
• Contribute to the modernization of enterprise search from lexical search to semantic, ML-driven search capabilities
• Support the development of AI-driven features for intent-based search and relevance improvements
• Design and implement automation workflows to streamline internal operations and support workflows

• 4+ years of experience in Python development within production environments
• Strong experience in building backend systems, APIs, and scalable services
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized deployment practices
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops methodologies
