Job Details
Advanced Packaging Technology and Manufacturing (APTM) Yield Organization is looking for a Yield Analyst who will drive yield improvement activities across APTM packaging technologies.
Responsibilities- Define yield roadmap and drive yield improvement activities through yield working group/taskforce using formal education, model-based problem solving, knowledge of manufacturing process and data analytics in collaboration with Process modules, Integration and other key stakeholders.
- Extract key insights through data analytics from various data sources such as inline tool data, metrology tool images, electrical test, lab characterization, etc.
- Prepare yield reports, communicate key messages/insights in various forums and recommend next actions for yield improvements.
- Monitor factory yield issues, respond promptly to daily yield loss events, and develop proactive and preventative measures to improve yield.
Self‑driven with minimum supervision, good communication skills, tolerance of ambiguity, effective in a fast‑paced work environment, and strong sense of ownership.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor with +4 years of experience or Master with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or another relevant STEM field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics using Python and/or JMP. Familiarity with Python libraries for data science work (Num Py, Pandas, Scipy, Matplotlib, Scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Prior experience working in wafer level and/or package assembly, familiarity with process flow, tools and yield issues.
- Able to connect analysis results to process fundamentals, tool behaviors and physics. Construct hypothesis model tables and systematically solve complex yield problems.
- Demonstrate capability to direct cross‑functional teams and work effectively across organization boundaries. Be proactive and drive conversations with stakeholders for yield improvements.
- Prior experience running working group and taskforce with stakeholders, providing technical directions for problem resolution.
