Automation Karate engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Automation Karate engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The candidate will design and build scalable automation frameworks while developing and maintaining test scripts and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Automation Karate engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Karate for API and functional testing.
• Create, execute, and manage automated test scripts for regression and end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Build and implement keyword-driven and data-driven testing frameworks using TestNG and Karate.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and manage scheduled test executions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test strategies, scenarios, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Manage test data, analyze results, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across application functionalities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Strong expertise in Karate framework, Selenium, and API automation with experience in building scalable automation frameworks.
• Proven experience in CI/CD integration (Jenkins/Sauce Labs), test framework design (keyword/data-driven), and full SDLC/STLC testing processes.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
