Java Engineer

Overview

Role:
Java Engineer. Candidate to be based out of Sunrise, FL to attend F2F interview at the client location.

• Owns all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications.
• Participates in the design and development of systems & application programs.
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
• Works with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manages a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues.
• Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing.

• Strong core Java fundamentals. 5+ years of experience building large scale applications using Java backend programming.
• Experience working on Cloud (public or private) is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge and experience in software development methods; able to perform due diligence in all lifecycle stages of analysis, build and testing. Ability to write good JUnit tests and extend code coverage; ability to troubleshoot problems in test and production. Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Experience with design and coding in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, JUnit, Mockito, Integration testing, Sonar Qube, Log4j, Gradle & Maven, Git, Unix & shell scripting, RDBMS, SQL, No
  
  SQL databases, REST, Cloud; related experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm config, Dynatrace, and performance tuning for sub-second response applications.

Base Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 Per Annum
