Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, big data, data platforms, or infrastructure engineering
, or equivalent hands‑on experience. - Strong practical expertise with Hadoop ecosystems
, particularly HPE MapR distribution
. - Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture
, data storage frameworks, and cluster computing principles
. - Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration
, including performance tuning and troubleshooting. - Hands‑on experience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, Scala, or Bash.
- Working knowledge of Apache Spark
, including both batch and stream processing frameworks
. - Proven ability to manage and support production‑grade, enterprise‑scale clusters with high availability and reliability requirements.
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex issues in large‑scale distributed environments
. - Familiarity with industry‑standard monitoring and observability tools
, including Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.
