As an Advanced Software Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in leading software integration activities for the Anthem program while ensuring robust Dev Sec Ops practices are implemented throughout the development lifecycle.
You will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and work out of a Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities- Lead software integration activities for multiple programs, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
- Implement and manage Dev Sec Ops practices to enhance software development and deployment processes.
- Utilize configuration management systems such as Clear Case, Atlassian Bitbucket, and Git to maintain code integrity and version control.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Power Shell, and Batch, as well as Makefile for automation and efficiency.
- Upgrade current AeroSPS infrastructure to a modern and sustainable Dev Ops framework.
- Support digitization of metrics and health monitoring through Splunk.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Dev Sec Ops .
- Strong knowledge of configuration management systems including Clear Case, Atlassian Bitbucket, and Git.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, Batch, and experience with Makefile.
- Demonstrated ability to lead integration activities and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
