Software Engineer II – Flight Management System
Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer II to join our dynamic Flight Management System team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and integrating highly complex software for the Anthem Next Generation Avionics program.

Work Schedule: Hybrid
- Design, develop, and maintain core flight management software supporting next‑generation avionics systems
- Implement high quality software solutions that meet performance, security, and reliability requirements
- Participate in requirements and code reviews, contributing ideas that improve software quality and development practices
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and certification teams to deliver integrated software solutions
- Support software integration, testing, and debugging in laboratory environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across the development and integration lifecycle
- Continually grow your technical skills while applying industry standards and aerospace best practices
You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 2+ years of professional software development experience with strong C++ or object‑oriented programming skills
- Familiarity with avionics development life cycles
- Experience with requirements or modeling tools
