- 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
- Strong hands‑on Salesforce engineering experience across Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs, platform events, asynchronous processing, and enterprise integrations.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform internals including governor limits, transaction management, security/sharing model, performance optimization, and large‑scale data handling.
- Ability to independently drive solution design discussions and make sound tradeoff decisions between declarative features and custom engineering solutions.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise‑grade integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event‑driven architecture, and external platforms.
- Strong debugging, root‑cause analysis, and production support skills in complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to critically analyze requirements, identify design gaps early, and challenge incomplete or non‑scalable solutions.
- Strong code review discipline, engineering standards mindset, and focus on resiliency, quality, and operational excellence.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience enabling unified customer profiles, identity resolution, and AI-ready data models
- Exposure to event‑driven and near real‑time architectures
- Familiarity with Hyperforce considerations and enterprise platform modernization initiatives
- Contribute beyond story execution and operate as a senior technical leader
- Drive design reviews, PR rigor, and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and uplift engineering quality across the team
- Help drive shift‑left quality and scalable engineering practices
- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certifications
- Experience in large enterprise or highly regulated environments
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Admin‑heavy profiles with limited engineering depth
- Engineers focused only on configuration/ticket execution
- Profiles lacking strong API, architecture, and platform fundamentals
- Tech leads/Profiles lacking current and relevant hands‑on experience
