We are looking for an Application Programmer to support the Office of Naval Research. The ideal candidate has experience with .NET and C# applications, development, and deployment and values collaboration.

• Creating, testing, and implementing custom .NET and C# applications
• Working with Senior Software Developer and database technicians on code design, testing, deployment, etc.
• Analyzing, developing, and testing various programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs
• Creating and designing new software by debugging, analyzing, testing, assessing, and implementing programming applications and software code
• Supporting systems integration, testing, maintenance, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for applications based on the enterprise architecture
• Ensuring the availability and performance of a production application, addressing issues as they arise
• Preparing technical documentation on work accomplished
• Collaborating with a team of technical and functional individuals
• Resolving issues with applications that come up during testing or as a result of user feedback
• Striving to continuously improve service delivery

Skills/

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Experience in .NET, SQL, C#, JavaScript, and Oracle databases
• Willingness to take action to overcome challenges or obstacles and look for ways to improve results.
• Good attitude when working with others; able to understand direction and/or input from other people, including non-technical stakeholders or teammates.

Desired Certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or CND

Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, as well as a minimum of 4 years of relevant, professional experience.
