A Phoenix-based transportation and logistics organization is seeking a Lead / Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a highly innovative technology team focused on rapid application development, emerging technologies, and cloud-native solutions. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence two days per week in the Phoenix area. The environment is heavily focused on React, Node.js,

Type Script, and AWS Serverless technologies. This role offers the opportunity to lead a growing offshore engineering team while remaining hands-on in architecture, development, and delivery. The ideal candidate enjoys working in fast-paced environments, building solutions from concept through production, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to quickly bring new ideas to life. Multi-Year Contract Opportunity

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and/or technical projects
• Strong full-stack development background with React and Node.js
• Expertise with Type Script
• Deep AWS cloud experience, particularly serverless architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and related cloud-native services
• Experience mentoring distributed or offshore development teams
• Strong understanding of software design, testing, and delivery best practices
• Experience building applications from business requirements through production deployment

• AWS CDK and Cloud Formation experience
• Redux expertise
• Experience with RDS/MySQL
• Familiarity with Cloud Front and S3
• Knowledge of security permissions, access controls, and cloud governance
• Experience working in innovation, R&D, or rapid prototyping environments
• Exposure to modern AI-assisted development tools

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a growing offshore team of developers, QA professionals, and technical contributors
• Design and develop cloud-native applications, APIs, frontend applications, and backend services
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning
• Review code, enforce engineering standards, and support team growth
