Java Backend Developer (with hands‑on in Kotlin)

5-6 Years

• Expertise with Java/J2EE, Springboot, Kotlin
• Expertise with building RESTful APIs
• Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Confirmed experience with object‑oriented design and coding in a variety of languages
• Knowledge of Agentic AI
• Knowledge of code quality parameters and GIT branching concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and No

• Knowledge of automated testing concepts using Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber
• CI/CD concepts with exposure to tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT
• Expertise in agile life‑cycle management tools (JIRA/Rally), software testing standards, methods, and conventions

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement features that meet business needs.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring smooth operation under high load.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluate new tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with Dev Ops teams to deploy and manage backend services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
