Senior Automation Karate Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Karate Engineer with strong expertise in API Automation Testing, Karate Framework, Selenium, TestNG, and CI/CD integration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for enterprise applications and APIs. The role requires strong experience in functional and regression testing, automation framework architecture, and integration of automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Automation Framework Development

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Karate, Selenium Web Driver, TestNG.
Build scalable and reusable automation solutions for enterprise applications and APIs.

API & Functional Testing

Develop and execute API automation test scripts, functional testing, and regression testing.
Validate application functionality, reliability, and performance across multiple environments.

Test Design & Execution

Create test cases, test scenarios, automation scripts, and test reports.
Execute automated and manual testing activities as required.

Framework Architecture

Develop and maintain keyword-driven and data-driven frameworks.
Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and easy to use.

CI/CD Integration

Integrate automation scripts with Jenkins, Sauce Labs, and CI/CD pipelines.
Support automated nightly batch execution and reporting.

Agile Collaboration

Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Participate in sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and test planning sessions.

Test Data Management

Create and maintain test data assets and validation datasets.
Support SIT/UAT activities and production validation.

Quality Assurance Best Practices

Ensure compliance with SDLC/STLC processes and QA standards and best practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in automation and testing.
