CDL A Truck Driver

Class A CDL Driver Position:
Full time Company Driver

Regional Position:
Extremely Consistent Freight / Lanes / High miles

Jamie Tharpe Trucking strives to provide an environment where the Driver can grow both personally & professionally. With our unique scheduling options, this position will have you home for 48 hours every 7 to 8 days. This allows a healthy amount of time with family & friends during the reset. All reset/home time will be at the home base of the driver.

This position will offer Class A CDL drivers weekly home time.

• Pay of $1,650 to $2,000 per week
• Running area will include West of I-35
• 3,000 to 3,400 miles per round trip
• 7-8 days out (round trip) then home for 48‑hour reset
• Mostly drop and hook
• Newer trucks – most trucks are no older than 2.5 years old
• Contract with Penske so drivers are not stuck on the side of the road
• Paid orientation
• Pet policy with no breed or weight restrictions
• Rider policy that starts immediately after hire
• Elogs is through Platform Science
• GPS is through Tablet
• Fuel program that allows drivers to earn extra money each month

• Only 3 days
• Room & breakfast and dinner are covered
• We provide our Class A CDL drivers travel to orientation

• Drivers must have 6 months of experience in the last 12 months
• No speeding 15 mph or over in the last year
• All careless/reckless driving charges are looked at case by case

• Valid Medical Card / Physical
• Valid Driver Licences (Class A CDL)
• Clear House / FMCSA Form – Must be signed up with government compliance as to run report on Driver Record
