Description:

Dispatches Truck Drivers (CDL and Non-CDL), for conveyance of materials in a safe manner for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities, ensuring emails and phone calls are handled in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Records and maintains files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.
* Coordinates and effectively communicates with various GCNA divisions.
* Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Immediately takes action and/or reports any unsafe or potential hazards.
* Orders supplies and equipment, issuing them to Team Members.
* Maintains the day-to-day operations of the transportation department including meeting Team Member and customer needs.
* Reads and responds to emails from stores, providing excellent customer service.
* Dispatches Drivers in a safe and efficient manner.
* Determines types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
* Communicates power equipment defects to the fleet Services Team.
* Provides feedback to the Transportation Leaders on day-to-day operations in an effort to maintain and improve business and resolve problems.
* Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required
* One year of customer service experience or dispatch experience required
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Outstanding organizational and time management skills
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Ability to speak and read English proficiently
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
