** Logistics & Supply Chain Manager*
* ** Position Summary*
* We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to oversee transportation, inventory, warehousing, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing vendor relationships, and leading warehouse and logistics teams to support business objectives.
** Key Responsibilities*
* ** Supply Chain Oversight*
* + Coordinate and monitor the entire freight order cycle, ensuring a seamless flow of products from suppliers to end customers.
+ Optimize transportation and distribution processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
** Inventory Management*
* + Manage inventory levels, delivery schedules, and storage solutions to prevent shortages and minimize operational costs.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and implement best practices for inventory control.
** Carrier & Vendor Relations*
* + Develop and maintain relationships with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
+ Negotiate transportation rates, service agreements, and contracts to ensure cost-effective operations.
** Budgeting & Cost Optimization*
* + Monitor shipping and operational budgets.
+ Identify process inefficiencies and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
** Team Leadership*
* + Supervise warehouse personnel and logistics coordinators.
+ Foster a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
+ Provide coaching, training, and performance management support.
** Compliance & Problem Resolution*
* + Resolve delivery delays, shipment issues, and customer concerns in a timely manner.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable domestic and international transportation regulations, including DOT and OSHA requirements.
+ Support import/export activities and maintain compliance with shipping regulations.
** Required Qualifications*
* + Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, or a related field.
+ Strong understanding of inventory management, freight coordination, and warehouse operations.
+ Proficiency with logistics, inventory, and business software systems.
+ Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Clean driving record required.
+ Must be able to operate a truck and trailer when needed (CDL not required and daily driving is not expected).
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Forklift certification or training.
+
Experience with import/export processes, customs documentation, and international shipping regulations.
+ Previous experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.
+ Knowledge of transportation compliance and safety regulations.
** Pay Details:** $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
