Local Class A CDL Shuttle Driver

We are looking for a safety-minded, dependable, and physically active Local Class A CDL Driver for a dual Yard Hostler and Shuttle operation right here in the Phoenix area
.

This is a critical role where timing, precision, and a strong safety focus keep our plant running smoothly. If you prefer a position that keeps you physically active over sitting in a cab all day, this is the perfect fit. You will be home daily
, driving night shifts, and handling local shuttle runs alongside yard management.

• Local Shuttle Work: Pick up trailers from the bakery and transport them to the Distribution Center (DC)—a short, efficient 7-mile run between locations.
• Yard Hostling: Perform yard jockeying and asset management at both the bakery and the DC.
• Cargo Security: Seal and secure all trailers before shuttling. (Accuracy prevents operational delays and plant shutdowns).
• Physical Unloading: Safely unload lift-gate trailers containing bread stacks and wheeled bread carts/trays at delivery or transit points.
• Flexibility: Assist with local delivery runs if bakery shuttle operations are caught up for the shift.

• Home Daily: Stable, predictable night-shift schedules so you sleep in your own bed every day.

• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience within the last 12 months.

• Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physical work daily, including operating lift-gates and maneuvering wheeled bread carts/stacks.
• Safety Record: Strong emphasis on safety, defensive driving, and punctual execution.
