Phoenix, AZ – Acetylene production & filling.

Airgas is hiring a CDL A Driver to safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers using company‑provided trucks. The role involves loading, unloading, and transporting cylinders while maintaining driver safety and customer relationships.

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload gas cylinders and supplies each day.
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Ensure timely deliveries and safety of cargo.
• Safely secure and release cylinders during unloading.
• Complete deliveries on customer property using a hand cart, emphasizing a physically active workload.
• Frequently move in and out of the vehicle during loading and unloading.

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements.
• Hazmat endorsement required; candidates without current HAZMAT will not be considered.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or a combination of one conviction and one accident.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material handling equipment.
• Minimum one year of CDL driving experience within the last five years or proof of a certificate of completion from a trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

• Forklift experience.

• Pay: $27 per hour.
• 40–45 hour work week with minimal overtime.
• Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional weekend work.
• Referral bonus: $1,000.
