PositionDetails:
- Average yearly income, $80,000+ per year, Quarterly Safety Bonus opportunities
- 5‑day work week Monday thru Saturday, No Sundays, days off will vary – must be flexible
- Possibility of team routes / overnight (layovers) on certain routes
- Dispatch range 12 AM to 5 AM; 10 hour shifts on average; all ramp work

Purpose:
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers!
Job Functions / Major Functional Responsibilities:- Perform all required safety check (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). inspect tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Perform count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded. Check and complete accurate and legible paperwork associated with freight. Move tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
- Ensure that tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured at all times. Unload damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check‑in and complete necessary paperwork and procedures at end of shift. Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
- Complies with daily record‑keeping and hours of service requirements, adhering to DOT, state, and company policies.
- Upholds overall safety standards and follows guidelines for the proper handling of freight throughout the delivery process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Required
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Equivalent Experience Required
Work Experience:
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Valid CDL‑A
- 12 months commercial driving
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10‑35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location
