CDL Delivery Driver - Phoenix, AZ

Job Overview

2M Company is hiring a Delivery Driver with a valid CDL to load and unload trucks, deliver water equipment components, and provide excellent customer service. The role involves multiple stops per route and a driving radius of 100‑500 miles from the branch.

• Valid CDL required.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• No DUI/DWI citations or convictions in the past 5 years.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to a pre‑employment drug and alcohol screen.

• 20 days off in first year.

• Load and unload trucks and/or trailers. Properly secure loads in accordance with state/federal regulation and common safety practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Assist in other branch duties, including warehouse and yard inventory responsibilities.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes) to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Submit receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic transport situations to base or other vehicles.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
• Maintain company gas card, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance; also responsible for ensuring driver license and medical certificate are current and on person at all times while driving a company vehicle.

• Frequently required to stand or walk and to climb or balance.
