Valley Hospital is a private psychiatric hospital that provides comprehensive mental health and chemical‑dependency care. We are seeking a full‑time Van Driver to transport patients safely and provide continuous observation and support during rides.

• Transport patients to and from the facility on a schedule that varies from 2 PM to an unspecified time, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
• Provide continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling during transport while ensuring patient safety.
• Inspect and maintain the van, reporting any maintenance issues to the Transportation Coordinator/Operations.
• Keep the van log up to date with correct addresses and phone numbers.
• Communicate with the Transportation Coordinator and other staff about patient care issues and information.

• Valid driver’s license class suitable for transporting patients.
• Agree to a Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) background check.
• Valid CPR certification prior to starting employment.
• Good driving record as obtained from the Department of Public Safety.
• Complete seclusion and restraint training (SAMA) within days of employment.
• Previous experience as a transportation driver preferred.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
