Pay Range: $50,000 - $57,000.00 Annual

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (fulltime weekends) 5:00 AM- 3:00 PM (flexible)

With close direction, negotiate freight rates for KNX's Logistics Division (3PL & Brokerage); build and optimize carrier partner relationships and alliances. Respond to capacity requirements, provide rate adjustment recommendations, and deliver on strategic growth initiatives.

• Deliver against growth and profitability targets.
• Analyze the freight market to maximize profit and negotiating power at each transaction.
• Evaluate freight carriers and lanes based on capacity, utilization, insurance, price, safety, and service.
• Negotiate rates and terms with carrier partners and customers.
• Communicate market changes and carrier opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage the full process from buying outside carriers to pickup and delivery for customers.
• Serve as the interface between customers' transportation personnel and head office.
• Integrate customer transportation strategies within Swift’s overall strategy.
• Maintain focus on key performance indicators.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including travel when applicable.

• Minimum of two years of brokerage-related or transportation experience, or two years in sales, inside sales call center, or customer service.
• Basic knowledge of transportation and 3PL.
• Results-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to solicit new customers and meet revenue targets.
• Strong sense of urgency, bias for action, and self-starting without close supervision.
• Ability to operate in a busy, demanding environment.
• Understanding and enforcement of company policies.
• Knowledge of AS400 and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with superior problem solving ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
