Local Delivery Driver; CDL A

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc., Phoenix, AZ.

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10‑12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization continue growing.

• Have a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, plus a valid Class A CDL.
• Be 21 years or older.
• Have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• Have no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
• Have no alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Be able to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
