OBJECTIVESupervise and coordinate the safe and proper transportation of agency members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Assist and coordinate all aspects of Transportation Department as directed by the Transportation Director.
- Plan transportation for new members in coordination with Director.
- Modify transportation routes as needed due to staff changes, to ensure overall efficiency of routes.
- Monitor van mileage logs to ensure consistency of miles between vans.
- Coordinate with Transportation Director to ensure timely handling of all repair issues.
- Coordinate with Transportation Director to ensure proper maintenance schedule.
- Daily monitoring of fuel/mileage logs.
- Daily review of timesheet to verify accurate input or missed punches.
- Daily review of GPS system to monitor speeding, harsh braking, idle time, etc. to discuss exceptions with Transportation Director.
- Needed information for GPS violations will be provided fairly and consistently to Transportation Director.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining member van logs.
- Responsible for coordinating replacement drivers when need arises.
- Responsible for ensuring that vans follow assigned schedules.
- Conduct road test as requested by Transportation Director.
- Assist in monitoring MAG grants.
- Will be required to perform duties of a driver as needed.
- Review Incident Reports to provide to Transportation Director for approval.
- Monitor to ensure that drivers take phones, van logs, and fact sheets on every route.
- Receive end of route picture to ensure no members are left in the van prior to driver leaving with approval.
Is responsible for assigning and adjusting coordination and reassessment for routes and rerouting as needed. Gathering information and providing input to Transportation Director with personnel issues and hiring.
AUTHORITYThis person shall have the authority to complete the above responsibilities subject to the verbal and/or written approval of the Transportation Director.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEA minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate required.
LANGUAGE SKILLSBilingual and/or sign language a plus, but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic calculations.
REASONING ABILITYBasic ability to apply training to daily situations.
