Logistics Specialist , ADC Infra Ops Logistics (Level4)
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the cloud. We face complex supply‑chain challenges with many variables and look for talented individuals who can help us deliver at the highest standards of safety, security, and cost efficiency.
You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You will collaborate across AWS to maintain safety and security while supporting the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain in‑stock components, receive and process inbound shipments, and support build and repair activities. Create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts, track inventory locations and movement, and fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately. Work with Procurement to ensure complete inbound orders and with Datacenter Operations Technicians to coordinate deliveries.
- Asemble, address, stamp, and arrange the shipment of materials.
- Handle incoming shipments, unpack boxes, and verify contents.
- Load and unload large equipment using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain precise records of all commodities entering and leaving the company.
- Perform daily equipment receiving and processing, supporting high availability and low cost goals.
- Maintain up‑to‑date metrics dashboards and Excel spreadsheets; create reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- 1+ year logistics experience.
- 1+ year material forecasting experience.
- 1+ year shipping and receiving, inventory and warehousing practice experience.
- 1+ year transportation experience.
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or higher.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles for this role.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity requirements.
- Work with moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level can be loud.
- Temperatures 60–90°F (can exceed 90°F). 45–49 lbs lifting for short distances; may participate in group lifts of 50 lbs or more.
- Work in a noisy environment; shift priorities without friction.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; push or pull heavy objects.
- Work overtime as needed.

USA, AZ, Phoenix | Pay Range: $29.00 – $50.00 USD hourly
