Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Phoenix, AZ. The CDL A Truck Driver will transport dry goods and temperature-sensitive freight, ensuring timely and safe pickup, transit, and delivery according to route plans and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and documentation, and adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

The driver will communicate with dispatch, report any delays or issues, and help maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle. The role also involves professional interaction with customers at loading and unloading locations to support strong service relationships.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Experience operating tractor-trailers, including handling dry goods and temperature-sensitive loads, and familiarity with route planning.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and proper vehicle inspection procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and other required documentation.
  • Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills for interacting with dispatchers, team members, and customers.
  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods, enter/exit the cab, and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of CDL A driving required.
  • Willingness to follow company policies, participate in safety programs, and work collaboratively with others.
