Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience and familiarity with standard shipping and receiving procedures. Forklift certification is preferred.
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

- Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
- Verify received goods against shipping records and inspect items for condition.
- Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation requirements.
- Record received and shipped materials accurately using established procedures.
- Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or designated stock areas.
- Complete required written and computerized documentation.
- Operate powered material-handling equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts, as required.
- Follow established shipping, receiving, safety, and material-handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1 year of related shipping and receiving experience.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of typical shipping and receiving procedures and the ability to handle routine exceptions.
- Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record may be required, depending on job responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision and follow established procedures.
