The Aviation Department has a vacancy for a Supervisor I position. This position will provide first-line supervision in airport maintenance, operations, public safety and security, or an assigned technical area for Sky Harbor International Airport, Deer Valley, or Goodyear Airports. Incumbents are involved in several different functions including emergency and critical telephone/radio communications, airfield and landside maintenance, airside operations, parking and ground transportation operations, landscape maintenance, custodial, supplies and the security badging office.

Typical duties include directing the work of staff; shift scheduling; evaluating performance; issuing Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs); emergency communication equipment training; ordering and maintaining new equipment and supplies; preparing reports; handling questions and complaints from the public; and conducting training. These positions may also work irregular shifts and hours due to operational needs.

Night shift hours: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Pay Range

Pay Range: $28.04 to $43.49 per hour.

Hiring Range: $28.04 to $32.46 per hour.
