Operations Manager
The Warehouse Lead oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. They manage receiving, warehousing, and transfer activities, maintaining inventory levels and implementing FIFO practices. Additionally, they collaborate with various departments to develop and enforce policies, supports quality and food safety programs, and contributes to cost reduction initiatives.
Job Responsibilities- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years in a Warehouse Lead position in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Food Manufacturing is required.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to pass a background check, including criminal history.
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification within a specified time frame and maintain it valid throughout employment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of and adherence to warehouse safety protocols.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with First In, First Out (FIFO) and inventory management procedures.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (minimum 3 years with no incidents).
- Prior experience driving a 26ft box truck is a plus!
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Agility to maneuver in varying warehouse environments, including tight spaces and elevated areas.
- Stamina to sustain physical activity throughout the shift.
Aptitude to perform repetitive tasks with precision and efficiency. - Dexterity to handle and manipulate inventory items safely.
- Physical coordination to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, electric pallet jacks) effectively.
- Endurance to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Evening Shift – 12pm – 8:30pm, Sunday–Saturday ability to work any day of the week and Overtime as needed.
Pay$24–$25 per hour (after 6 month performance evaluation review you have the potential to go up $1 per hour). Paid on a bi-weekly basis.
