Distribution Center General Warehouse

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse General to join our team at our Phoenix Distribution Center. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m.

About the position:

As a Warehouse General you will be responsible for providing excellent service within ARS Warehouse ensuring work is completed in a timely manner meeting the ARS Workflow to the best of your ability while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

Stock HVAC parts in warehouse; ensuring all items are in correct bin location

Follow supervisors’ directions to ensure following accurate stocking/product put away Report any inventory discrepancies to Manager Quality control on all items going out on orders:

Inspection of all outgoing inventory ensuring accuracy by checking against pick list Ensure warehouse is in proper order by completing housekeeping tasks (clean, debris picked up, etc.) before the end of each shift

Clean and tidy workstation

Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
Follow the PWM’s (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse

Ensure all Safety Procedures followed

Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Other duties as assigned by Manager

A minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC Wholesale environment is preferred

A High School Diploma is preferred

Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license

Clean Motor Vehicle/Driving Record Must be able to communicate well with others.

Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.

Basic typing/10-key skills.

Must be a minimum of 20 years old
