Job Title:
Shipper & Receiver 2
Perform shipping and receiving tasks by following specific directions and employing standard procedures. Responsibilities include receiving, loading, unloading, picking, and inventory control, as well as stocking, consolidating, and replenishing products throughout the warehouse. You will also be responsible for pulling products for daily orders, with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping to meet daily goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Receive and verify documentation, SKU numbers, quantities, and overall quality from vendors.
- Stock products from vendors and plants into bulk locations.
- Consolidate products with the same SKU numbers in bulk locations.
- Pull bulk products and place them in pick zones.
- Consult with Inventory Control to resolve stock issues.
- Retrieve specified products from pick locations to ship.
- Transfer cartons from shipping lanes to stack onto pallets for loading.
- Meet and maintain department quality and productivity standards.
- Operate power industrial equipment as needed and certified.
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
- Experience in inventory, picking, packaging, and shipping and receiving.
- Proficiency with electric pallet jacks, forklifts, unloading, loading, RF scanners, and materials handling.
- Order selector experience.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of distribution operations.
- Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Previous power industrial vehicle experience preferred.
- Ability to work in 3-level modules and not afraid of heights.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently.
- Capacity to stand/walk for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work overtime with little or no notice.

Work EnvironmentThe position involves working a first shift, Monday through Friday, with potential for additional hours. You will work in a new 400,000 square foot air‑conditioned warehouse facility.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
