Warehouse & Receiving Team Member

Primary Duties

• Receive all deliveries, inspect shipments, and document any damage or defects in the receiving log in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
• Unpack and verify shipments against invoices, packing slips, and/or purchase orders; document and report any discrepancies.
• Distribute and organize inventory to appropriate departments or designated storage locations.
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Maintain the warehouse and freezer in a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Recommend proper disposal of excess or obsolete supplies, furniture, and equipment to maximize warehouse space utilization.
• Load and unload pallets from cold storage and place them in designated locations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, including shipping, gift assembly, box building, scanning, and printing shipping labels.
• Assist the baking team with organizing and storing bulk brownies in the freezer.
• Distribute freezer inventory using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Prepare and verify pallets of brownies and gift items for off-site cold storage.
• Collaborate with team members and support other departments as needed.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the shipping department expands.
• Perform all duties with integrity, professionalism, and efficiency.

• Previous warehouse experience, including operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and perform effectively under pressure.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift 30 to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying temperature environments, including below‑freezing conditions.
• Flexible schedule with availability for overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends.
• Experience operating a Raymond stand‑up forklift.
