The Inventory Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, executing stock audits, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. - Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records using internal software systems
- Monitor inventory levels and identify low stock or overstocked items
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments
- Prepare, label, and organize outgoing shipments
- Organize inventory storage areas to meet company standards
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to support daily operations
Implement and follow inventory control procedures and best practices - Identify discrepancies and support root cause resolution
- Assist with barcoding, labeling, and tagging of products
- Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations in all inventory handling processes
- Assist in cross-departmental coordination to resolve inventory-related issues
- Provide leadership and support to inventory team members during shifts
- Model safe, accurate, and compliant handling practices
- May lead small teams during shifts
- Support training and onboarding of new inventory staff
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and compliance procedures during team tasks
- 1+ year of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stockroom environments
- Cannabis industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with inventory software and data entry systems
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for full shifts
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in accordance with state law
- Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
