Assistant Warehouse Lead
Position Summary:
The primary function of the Warehouse Lead is to oversee distribution processes, assist customers and suppliers, manage and supervise employees, and ensure that safety regulations are met.
- Assist and lead assigned activities associated with warehouse operations.
- Prepare orders by processing requests, pull accurate materials, and place them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery; load and unload trucks as necessary.
- Organize, plan, coordinate, facilitate, and manage all aspects of physical inventory and storage area.
- Manage the process of receiving, stocking, and quality control of all merchandise.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor performance and productivity to maximize operational excellence, including service, quality, and cost control.
- Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
- Assist with assigning workload, including training of warehouse staff.
- Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry and building materials.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Display trust and integrity; embody servant leadership.
- Work independently and as part of a team; lead, execute, or delegate as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships at all organizational levels.

- Lift up to 50 lbs.; walk or stand for most of the shift; wear protective gear and steel‑toed boots.
- Operate a forklift.
- Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; frequently move within the office and warehouse.
- Operate basic office machinery.
- Communicate effectively with team and management.

$20.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
