Warehouse, Forklift Operator

Position Overview

Primary responsibility for replenishment and/or put‑away activities in the warehouse.

• Accurately pick multiple orders at a time throughout the warehouse using a handheld scanner.
• Work diligently and efficiently to maintain productivity rates.
• Transfer products from racking to delivery route staging areas.
• Validate order accuracy with a handheld scanner before invoicing; communicate deficiencies with supervisor to ensure customer orders are 100% accurate.
• Palletize, wrap, and load delivery trucks according to the delivery manifest.
• Replenish products from overstock to picking locations.
• Be certified and operate company equipment (pallet rider, order picker, forklift).
• Adhere to company processes to maintain inventory accuracy for bins and overall warehouse.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures; encourage team members to do the same.
• Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
• Perform and document safety inspections of powered industrial equipment before operation.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Use reliable transportation for punctual arrival and maintain excellent attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• One to two years of previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic handheld electronic skills for order processing using handheld scanners.
• Company certification to operate industrial equipment such as order pickers or forklifts.
• Ability to stand, climb, and walk continually throughout a shift.
• Ability to lift from floor to above the head; cartons weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work during shift hours as assigned by the manager.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive industrial equipment, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance.
