Position Summary
The Parts Runner is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of parts, tools, and materials between the warehouse, job sites, and vendor locations. This role is critical to maintaining efficient daily operations by ensuring technicians and installers have the materials they need when and where they need them.
Key Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and supplies between the warehouse, job sites, and vendor locations.
- Ensure accuracy of all deliveries and pickups, including verifying quantities and signing invoices or delivery documentation.
- Perform quality checks to confirm parts and materials are in good condition prior to delivery.
- Safely load and unload materials, following proper lifting and handling procedures.
- Assist with organizing, stocking, and maintaining warehouse inventory when not on delivery runs.
- Communicate clearly with warehouse staff, field technicians, and management regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
- Follow all company safety policies, driving regulations, and operational procedures at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy parts and materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic familiarity with construction, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial parts preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
This position operates in both warehouse and field environments and requires frequent driving to job sites and vendor locations. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and working in various weather conditions. Safety-conscious behavior and adherence to company policies are essential in this fast-paced, hands‑on environment.
Pay Range: $18 – $19 USD
