Position Overview

Warehouse Forklift Operator at Ryder System in Phoenix, AZ.

Pay: $20.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour added once converted to full‑time.

Schedule:

Second shift Sunday‑Thursday. Sunday 2:00pm–Monday 3:00pm.

Employment Type:

Temporary–Full Time.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shift hours.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License, certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Team‑player attitude and ability to work in a diverse environment.
• High level of initiative, accuracy under pressure, and thoroughness.
• Good attendance record and punctuality.
• Capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 35lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or customer background requirements such as badging or background checks.
