Job 165123 - Warehouse Receiver - Phoenix, AZ

As a Receiver at Peddler's Son, you are responsible for unloading all incoming freight. You will follow receiving standards and procedures to receive, process, store, rotate, and stock as directed.

Responsibilities include:

• Unload and receive product safely in accordance with PSP policies and procedures.
• Verify accuracy and count of product on receiving documents.
• Stage and segregate product in designated areas.
• Break down product as necessary.
• Complete necessary documentation of incoming freight.
• Report discrepancies, damages, and other issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and productivity goals.
• Participate in a safety culture, report unsafe acts, and support safety programs.
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Safeguard and account for all inventory moving in and out of the warehouse.
• Collaborate with management to ensure materials availability.
• Report theft or unsafe acts to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse area in a clean, organized, and orderly fashion.

• Starting pay $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Medical, vision, and dental insurance available after 60 days.
• Vacation and sick pay accrued on a pay period basis.
• Six paid holidays per year.

• High school diploma or GED and 1‑3 months related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills required.
• Ability to learn constantly to meet changing job requirements.
• Warehouse receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Willingness to learn and pass training for role certification.
