Warehouse Associate – Responsibilities

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.

• Operating forklift, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fast-paced warehouse setting
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, equipment type, model, or part number
• Efficiently moving and loading product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
• Assembling customer orders from stock, stage orders, and/or conveying orders to the packing station or shipping department according to center purchase orders
• Performing proper packing and prep of all outbound orders
  • Performing QA check for equipment readiness and accuracy

• Follow safety regulations while operating equipment

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Preferred 3 to 6 months experience in a warehouse environment
  • Training provided as necessary
• Previous shipping/distribution and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Must be able to successfully pass and maintain forklift certification
• Operate power industrial equipment as needed

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
