Overview
DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Materials Coordinator based in Phoenix. The role involves customer service, transaction processing, international shipments, receipts, and on-site material movement in accordance with customer and regulatory standards. On-site work is required at the stated location unless otherwise noted. The position offers a Sunday–Wednesday shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with alternating Wednesdays (4 on, 3 off) and a pay rate of $23.15/hr.

Responsibilities- Provide customer service with the facilitation of international shipments, receipts, and on-site movement of material.
- Maintain systematic and logical inventory in SAP or similar systems.
- Receive deliveries from off-site warehousing or inbound shipments and update material trackers.
- Facilitate movement of material out of stock for engineering usage and manage return flow to onsite storage.
- Track material flow using designated logistics software, websites, or email to maintain location data and report to customers.
- Receive multiple daily deliveries to customer docks and ensure accountability of material requests.
- Maintain shipping and receiving logs (Excel) and process returns from customer sites to offsite warehouses with proper packing and labeling.
- Provide verification and notification for shortages, overages, address changes, and billing information on shipping requests.
- Coordinate with engineers for material handover, pull-lists, and proof of delivery/receipt.
- Ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct by comparing quantity, quality, labeling, and addresses with customer orders.
- Assist in reintroducing materials into SMS management system and manage dock activities and equipment/materials handling.
- Adhere to ESD requirements when counting, splitting, and packing material.
- Move physical material between cleanroom lay-down areas and system work areas; operate manual pallet jacks as needed.
- Conduct cycle counts and log material movements; expedite urgent material needs to appropriate work areas.
- Perform daily material staging, returns, and system work area organization; prepare materials for return with proper identification and packaging.
- Work may involve onsite technical support and potential heavy lifting in a clean-room production environment or laboratory setting.
- Operate material handling equipment and power tools for crating/de-crating and on-site movement of material.
- Maintain dock, elevator, vestibule, and laydown areas to align with customer expectations.
