Material Handler - Day Shift

About the Role

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will play an essential role in delivering superior supply‑chain solutions to our customers. Your responsibilities include moving material and inventory throughout the facility, packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm;
Every other Saturday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors, or other material‑handling equipment.
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work safely to protect yourself and your team.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic math skills with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including potential overtime.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve shared goals.

• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as needed.
• Manage tools or equipment.
• Tolerance for hot or cold warehouse environments.
