Southwest Mobile Storage specializes in modifying storage containers for sale or lease. We take pride in our ability to provide high-quality, customized portable storage solutions while delivering outstanding customer service. We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated General Laborer to join our hardworking shop team at our Phoenix branch, where communication and teamwork thrive. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our portable storage containers to ensure they are in top condition and ready for customer use.

• Assist with general labor tasks throughout yard, shop, and operational areas.
• Load, unload, move, organize, and clean materials, equipment, containers, and operational work spaces.
• Assist with basic repairs, maintenance, fabrication, and operational support activities as assigned.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, yards, shops, and operational spaces.
• Support drivers, fabrication personnel, shop staff, and operations personnel as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
• Assist with inventory movement, material handling, and equipment staging.
• Report operational, maintenance, or safety concerns to management.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and physical movement throughout shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Exposure to operational yards, shops, equipment, tools, machinery, and loud environments.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous labor, construction, warehouse, yard, or operational experience preferred.
• Ability to operate basic tools and equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions required.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
